PT Personel Alih Daya Tbk (PERSADA) has been trusted to support the acceleration of the national digital or internet ecosystem, namely Home Cable Installation (IKR) or Starlite, which is the result of collaboration with strategic partner SURGE (WIFI Group). To achieve this goal, PERSADA is strengthening its operational line, namely the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technical team, which has extensive experience and expertise to ensure that internet installation and activation targets are achieved, as well as providing stable and reliable internet service quality.

To support the operations and targets of this project, PERSADA deployed personnel with technical qualifications and experience, including the following competencies:

  • Fiber Optic Expertise (Splicing & Measurement): Splicing, Fast Connector installation, signal measurement.
  • Physical Installation Expertise (Outdoor & Indoor): cable stringing from ODP poles to homes, pole accessory installation, drilling techniques & cable routing to determine safe wall drilling points for neat installation along ceilings or walls.
  • Basic Device & Network Configuration: after the cable is installed, the internet must be turned on, ONT/Modem settings, provisioning (understanding the process of registering devices to the central server/OLT) so that the service can be activated and LAN & Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Use of Reporting Applications:  Reporting administration through Mobile Apps & Geotagging (using applications to update work status, upload proof of installation photos, and mark customer home GPS coordinates to synchronize with the Document Control system).
  • Work Safety (K3): Since work is conducted at heights and near electrical cables, it is mandatory to comply with K3 equipment usage procedures, such as safety harnesses, helmets, safety shoes, and proper ladder climbing techniques on support poles.

The presence of this reliable technical team is key for PERSADA to accelerate the daily activation targets set jointly with SURGE (WIFI Group). With the support of a competent, professional, and experienced workforce, PERSADA is optimistic that internet penetration can reach even the remotest parts of Java, in order to realize digital access for all segments of society.
